What are General Orders?
While a member of the US Army, I had to memorize several sections of what is called the Uniform Code of Military Justice. One of the items to memorize was called, “ the general orders of duty’. The purpose of the “general order” was to define for the individual a general framework to follow in situations where you might be cut off from leadership and situations that may not be defined in any specific terms. The general orders created a structure to allow for quick and
decisive action in these situations, thus creating stability out of what would otherwise be a situation of chaos and uncertainty.

The Lord, in His Word, has also left us with the same safety net of general orders specific for the “Church Age” as well as those that will be alive and endure the “end time” events leading to the return of Christ.

Fighting for peace?

 Throughout our history even in the “Church Age” many men of God have prayerfully taken up arms to defend their countries. One of the most inspiring stories is that of a
pacifist turned into the most decorated war hero of the first world war, Sargent Alvin York. A born-again Christian, he fasted and prayed, seeking the Lord as to what he should do about going to war in the military. In his intimate faith and relationship with God, he received his answer to just go and lend to Caesar what is Caesar’ and to God what was God’s. In his understanding, He would serve as a regular member of the armed forces ready to do what ever he was asked to do in any given situation. He killed and captured more than any other individual American in that war. His motivation however, was always to preserve life. I believe there is sufficient scripture to
support this kind of motivation and action. We have certainly experienced in almost every generation the same challenges to our faith in regards to war. But what about in this last end time scenario? There appears to be a very different reaction required by those individuals, but why?

What is so different about the End Time situation from other times?
 

The difference in this end time scenario is the perception by the world toward the Christian and anyone embracing Judeo-Christian values and beliefs. Never before in our history has the total blame for the world’s ills been placed solely upon Christians. In this end time scenario Christians will bear the brunt of the rest of the world’s hostility toward “Fundamentalists”. With the expansion of Muslim terrorists, the word “fundamentalist” of any type, is fast becoming the red flag word for radical religious beliefs that justify violence to others. Of course this is not true, but as in the news-speak of George Orwell’s 1984 the term is associated as terrorists by anyone
and anything. Fundamentalist is becoming synonymous with Terrorists.
Globalists actually have the influential power to direct the affairs of nations and peoples of varying beliefs. Pit one against another in a process of elimination and a pattern of use will eradicate all fundamentalist’s from the face of the earth. First Islam, then Jews and Christians which will soon be played out in global conflict. According to new age writers, the  accountability religions of Islam, Judaism and Christianity must be eliminated before a New World Order can be fully implemented. In the book by H.G. Wells: “Open Conspiracy, Blueprints for a World revolution” the outline of this very strategy is offered as a solution for World Peace and unity. Many other New Age books have been written proclaiming and accusing in particular the Christian faith as the root of the problems of the World.
 

History Repeats itself

As sheep the unbelieving masses are being herded to believe these lies. .Prior to the
extermination of the Jewish people of Europe, the so called “Priority of Sion,” a contrived document revealing a global Jewish plot to rule the world was believed in much of Europe against the Jews of Nazi Germany. Globalist’s are using the term “Fundamentalist” as the new danger to world peace. The Islamic Koran includes this violent belief system with a history of violence, intolerance and the murder of innocent people to prove it.
 

Judaism and Christianity Are different.

Of the three accountability religions Islam is unquestionably the bad boy of the three and the first to be dealt with by the NWO. The Old Testament would appear to bear this same genocidal activity without understanding the “Two seed blood line” of human and serpent. These events without this understanding would appear to have a case against Judaism. However with true Biblical understanding this is not true. The Church history which includes such events as the Holy Roman Empire with the Crusades and Spanish inquisition, or the later Salem Witch burnings or even later, English Imperialism spurned on by the belief of “British Israelism”,  would also appear to have the same history.
 

Unlike Islam, the actual scriptures of the Old and New testament are in direct conflict to these human interpretations and actions. Man under his own understanding, miss-represented the scriptural texts by their ungodly actions of violence. The real church was only a remnant contained within the Holey Roman empire and not the actual empire themselves. True believers in all of these situations also suffered and died as they proclaimed the true meaning of scripture in opposition to the actions done by these hypocrites. Unfortunately, history records these events as being done by the so called “Church” at the hand of so called Christians. This same pattern is
going to be repeated again in America, but you do not have to succumb to this if you understand your general orders.

General Orders in the Church Age:

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the
word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
Rev 12:11 (KJV)

In context, this scripture follows the events of Satan losing a war in heaven as Christ was dying on the cross. The accuser of the brethren (Satan) is cast into the earth and his angels with him. In the Greek here it literally means, “on dry land amongst men.” Suddenly we have a population explosion of everything rebellious to God in the angelic realm now existing in various forms amongst men on earth! This is the very beginning of what is called the “time of the gentiles” or the “Church Age”. It is in this context that these orders are given.:

The Power of the Blood
 

They overcame the wrath of Satan by the blood of the Lamb. This Blood speaks of the
redemption power Jesus accomplished on the cross. Looking at this blood letting in a term of physics, it was the act of undoing a paradox that was created in the Garden of Eden. Not too well understood by many Christians is the fact that there was a literal physical separation as well as the spiritual separation between man and God. On the physical plane a rift in the space time continuum created two dimensions. God’s eternal realm and the fallen linear dimension. Blood was added to our physical linear existence as part of this great fall. (Lev 17:11) The eternal state does not include blood. (1 Co15:50) Christ’s shed blood on the cross represents a kind of opposite manner of the Eden experience, which reversed that paradox.(Rom5:19) This blood sacrifice literally repaired this rip in space and time on the spiritual plane and with the return of
Christ the physical will be restored to just one.
 

This separation both physical and spiritual is called sin , which was an archaic archery term meaning to miss the mark. Understanding the mechanical aspects of this separation creates the logical understanding that the fallen dimension is a place not based on being good or bad as works has nothing to do with it, but rather knowing we are stuck here with only one way out. Accepting Christ then is the only dimensional bridge back to the intended creation. The blood of the lamb makes each person as they become “Born Again” and touched by His Spirit aware of this dimensional difference.
 

This gives a supernatural hope and expectation to something more than just this mortal life. The shed blood then makes the believer aware of this difference without knowing necessarily the physics behind it. This act could only be accomplished by God alone, He being fully man and yet God in the flesh. The power of the blood of the lamb is the power of a sense of newness an hope and the realization of belonging to a better dimension...eternity with the one who loves and created us. That revealed knowledge gives the believing individuals the power to overcome the horrible global events around him or her and even the mundane things in our daily life here in this fallen dimension..

The Word of their Testimony
 

Each one who crosses over spiritually into this act of being “Born Again” experiences on the spiritual plane an awareness of a dimensional change. Nothing looks the same, feels the same or is the same again, as you and your perception of the world around you is forever changed. The personal process leading to that moment of decision becomes our personal story or, the Word of your Testimony. In it’s simplest form it is like the words to Amazing Grace taken from the testimony of the blind man given back his sight. “Once I was blind but now I see”.  While researching and reading a very deceptive book about the UFO/ Alien Agenda which was very hostile toward a Biblical perspective, I wondered for a moment, (or rather in retrospect, was maybe told in a whisper by the enemy) what if this could be true and you are wrong. A sudden fear came upon me that was instantly removed. What happened was remembering a hot
day in July of 1974 as I was in my living room praying for the first time in my life . I was asking Jesus to come into my heart for the first time. In that very moment only what I could describe as something like a warm blanket of love floated over my whole being. I cried like a baby feeling like I did when I came home from the Army in 1970. I suddenly knew beyond my own natural senses that God was my Father, there was no more fear of what awaited beyond death. I felt clean and new. That my dear reader was the Word of my testimony that overcame the lies against my faith as sophisticated as they were. In this remembrance of my testimony I immediately snapped back like a rubber band to a reality the world could never understand.

Equipped with this mental and spiritual realization we have the strength to obey the last part of this general order. It is the fact that we may be called upon to die because of our faith. The ability to do this is in our focus. As we understand that there is a better place of existence called eternity, and knowing that this present linear mortal life is going to end we also realize that we will not create heaven on earth in this dimension, it is not our job nor God’s will, it is going to burn up and come to an end. Our only order is to remain faithful and overcome this present system. To further spiritualize this idea, we should as the Apostle Paul put it, “ die daily” to our old ways and habits that reflect this present world system and gather the power and awareness of the new world to come and it’s reality. Our spiritual focus to overcome the ways and manners of this world, is our most general order, promise and hope.

Specific End Time application of the General Orders.
 

In the unusual time of a persecution of the Church we have two actual options or choices and I believe in context that they are presented as options. Our choice is not contingent to salvation, but it does determine the outcome of our mortal life and the potential we are given to fulfill the will of God through us in this time. American Christians should take a special heed to these warnings.

“ If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leads into captivity shall
go into captivity: he that kills with the sword must be killed with the sword.
Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.” Rev 13:9-10 (KJV)

In this text, the easiest part to understand is the fact that if you depend on weapons to defend or aggressively pursue the coming threats, know that you will die in the same manner. I truly believe this is an option and not a condition based on your personal eternal salvation. The option being, your level of faith and patience to be all that you can be as a servant of Christ or mush less by settling for second best at the cost of your life. Pick up a gun and fight or remain non-violent and minister until you die. The choice is truly ours to make with the outcome known ahead of time. The assurance is that you are still His either way.
 

The second part may not be so easily understood. To lead into captivity and be taken captive could be understood in this manner in which I feel the Lord has described to me. The events that will soon surround us someday are unconditionally predestined ones which are the fulfillment of Biblical Prophecy. Our patience as Bible believing followers of Christ is to not get caught up with the temporal passions of these events but to see past them and look to the eternal promises. If we get caught up with the active and aggressive involvement to resist destiny, we certainly are not going to change that which has been ordained by God, no matter how evil or destructive it might be from our perspective. In the process of trying to change what cannot be changed, the only thing that will be changed is ourselves. We are in a sense trying to seize or capture
the events to our desire and will, and not the ultimate will of God. We then become the captives by our own earthly devices because we are actually working against what will be. Resistance to His will can only leave us frustrated , bound up and led by anger.
Am I saying that you cannot defend your family? Certainly not. I think the compassion of God is quite clear here that with the many coming challenges that will be put before us, there is this option and decision we can make depending on our Faith. We are still his and whatever level or degree of Faith we can exercise, we do it unto the Lord.. Just as Sgt.Yorks motivation was to preserve life, we should let that banner of love preside over each and every situation. It is a personal relationship with very specific personal events that will befall us all. The bottom line to all of this, is to guided by the general Orders provided by the Word of God and led in a personal application by His Spirit.
The results will be that every situation will take care of itself.

To Overcome
Rev 2:7-21, 21:7
To him that overcomes...
1. ...will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God..
2. ...shall not be hurt of the second death.
3. ...will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving he that receives it.
4. ... and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star.
5.the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6.will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
7.will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
8.shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

You cannot change what is destined to happen:

“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be
filthy still:...even so come Lord Jesus. The grace of out Lord Jesus Christ
be with you all Amen.” Revelation 22: 11p,20p,21

In the closing days ahead, remember your general orders and allow the Holy Spirit to     personalize each situation and personal application so that you can "Be all that you can Be".
