NEW-AGE EVOLUTION VIA INDIGO CHILDREN?

What I'm about to write about has interested me for quite a while. I've always paid attention to the definitions that the New Age (Old Lie) gives to phenomena that it deems important. It's always good to know what your adversary is up to. By adversary, I am not addressing the people who adhere to New Age philosophy, but to the author of the New Age, or what it really is; the old lie. The author is Satan and in the spirit realm he has little publishing houses throughout the world that are commonly known as demons. These publishing houses disseminate information to earthly publishing houses; mainly those who adhere to and promote New Age philosophy; whether they be psychics, channelers or just the owner of an occult book store or the New Age adherent who preaches his or her false gospel to people who aren't firmly grounded in the truth. As believers in the true Messiah, Yeshua; we have to recognize that the common run of the mill New Age believer is a pawn that has unwittingly been duped into believing a lie. They are no different than all of us were before we came to faith in Yeshua. Some even claim to have once been believers in Yeshua, but like the seed that falls on shallow ground, they soon withered when times got hard or when they saw other believers in mortal frailty.

It should be  no surprise to anyone that so many people run to the New Age for answers. The Church by and large has refused to address issues that became prevalent in the 20th and 21st centuries. For instance, when evolution raised its ugly head in the mid 19th century the church pretty well ignored it. If the subject was brought up then, or as late as the 1970's the person asking the question was basically told that the premise of evolution was evil or that perhaps it was a passing fad. I was presented the same explanation back in the 70's when I asked about evolution. Well, for me that wasn't a good enough explanation and I felt that if the "religious" people couldn't explain why evolution was bad or why I should avoid it then I would explore evolution itself.  This led to a few years of confusion and my adherence to the evolution lie. It is important, when explaining the dangers of anything that an complete explanation be presented. For instance, if a child tries to reach up to the stove to touch a hot pot and an adult just tells them not to do it, it only piques the curiosity. Human nature causes that child to want to touch the pot to see why the adult was so adamant about them not touching it. I speak from my own experience, so I know. But, if the parent sits the child down and tells them that should they touch the pot, they will get burned, that it will hurt a great deal and that it will take a few days of hurting before it heals then the child will know why they shouldn't touch the pot.

So, when a Christian is presented with a question by another believer, a searcher or anyone for that matter about the subjects of deception; UFO's, evolution, the occult or anything else they should be prepared to either answer the question, or to forward that person to an authoritative figure in the matter. Some day you'll probably run into a New Age person and if they have had any brush with Christianity, they will tell you that they didn't get the answers to the questions that they had. And, most of the time they'll tell you that their questions weren't about love, faith or hope; but they'll tell you that something bizarre happened to them, or that they had been thinking about a subject that Christians or the Church could not answer. And why couldn't they answer those questions? Well, it was simply because the subject dealt with something that Christians ignored or refused to talk about because it was not in the status quo of Christian thought.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee.... Hosea 4:6

Now I'll be the first to acknowledge that the scripture above is talking to the Jewish people of Hosea's time. But, there are implications for the Church of Messiah Yeshua where this is concerned. A lack of knowledge of the sins of this world and the weirdness that is going on all over the globe will turn around to bite the Church in the backside. First, we need to know how the deceptive ways of the enemy will try to come directly against the Church. The extraterrestrial agenda is a perfect way to illustrate this premise. Back in the late 1940's and the 1950's anyone who professed interest in the UFO phenomena was deemed a bit off center, perhaps on the fringe element of society. The mere mention of the subject brought about raised eyebrows by the listeners and ridicule of the person bringing up the subject. In church, if the subject was dared presented the person presenting it was deemed to be dabbling in the occult or perhaps they were thought to be demonized. And this was simply done at the suggestion of the possibility of extraterrestrial life being a possibility. The Church didn't present valid answers, just jest and confusion. All throughout my short 47 years here on earth it seems that the Church in large has refused to address the issue of UFO's and extraterrestrials. Why? Well, simply because it's too controversial. Oh, if we bring that up some of the people might leave the church and never come back. Well, the Church is supposed to be like her maker, Yahweh, Yeshua Ha Mashiach who brings up controversy all throughout the Bible. Yeshua was a walking controversy while he lived here on Earth and wherever He went it seems that contentions arose. And why did they arise? Well, it was because He challenged the "religious" of his day. He presented ideas that sounded foreign to the Jewish leaders and to a lot of the people who had been indoctrinated by those believers. So why should His Church be any different. Is it because the money might dry up? Is it because people would go to other churches? Is it because it would make some people feel uncomfortable? I really feel in my heart of hearts that Yeshua didn't allow those things to fog His judgment, so neither should we. I'm not saying that we should adopt strange ideas, but we should know about those things so that we can minister to those who do adhere to those things. I'd be willing to bet that any person reading this, should they conduct a secret poll of ten believers in your church, would find out that at least two of them believe that we're not alone in the universe. That should be troubling to everyone because it shows how the New Age philosophy has infiltrated into the Body of Messiah.

So the second way that a lack of knowledge will destroy Yahweh's people is by infiltration. Anyone who's ever lived in an older house will be able to relate to infiltration. Having been raised in a cold climate I am aware of how cold can enter a house and make one's life miserable. Before wintertime we would go throughout the house and look for air leaks. Weather-stripping would be replace around doors and windows as winter approached. The attic insulation would be checked carefully. We would install plastic around the windows to insulate against the cold. We even insulated around the electrical plugs and switches in the walls to keep cold air from coming in. It was quite an involved process. Older houses are even worse because they're usually not insulated as well as the newer homes. Because of that, cold air could come through the floor, the walls and even from the ceiling. While the house in general was protection from the snow and most of the wind, cold air always seems to come in and make for a larger utility bill or cold nights. The modern Church is like an old house. It stands on a firm foundation and guards against the wind and cold, but because it refuses to insulate against bizarre doctrine, some cold air, in the way of strange beliefs, comes in and makes parts of the Church cold. The UFO phenomena is like the cold coming in through the floor of the old house. The Church could go under the house and insulate it, but fear of spiders, bugs and dark confined spaces cripples the keepers of the Church from going there to guard against the problem. So the problem persists while the Church denies that there is a problem and every year people by the score pick up a little more of the cold, in danger of getting hypothermia and dying in false doctrine.

Anyway, with all of this in out in the open I will start a study on a group of individuals that the New Age refers to as Indigo Children. The first information is actually something that I pulled from Wikipedia and it mirrors what I read on sites dedicated to Indigo Children.

Indigo children

Indigo children is a term used within the New Age movement to refer to children who claim or who are believed to possess certain special psychological and spiritual attributes.

The Indigo Child concept was first publicized by the book The Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived, written by the husband-and-wife team of Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. Carroll insists that the concept was obtained via conversations with a spiritual entity known as Kryon. The reason for the use of the adjective "indigo" is not universally agreed upon. Some sources link it with an early researcher into the phenomenon, who was synesthetic. It has also been claimed that these children appear with an indigo-hued aura.

The Environment and Evolution

The Indigo Child movement states that the children in question are born with an empathic connection to Earth and others' thoughts. However, due to natural limits in infant communication, Indigo Children's supposed abilities (empathy, telepathy, extra-sensory perception and extra-normal perception) are often suppressed by negative parental or societal influence. The Indigo Child movement therefore encourages parents to support those children in whom can be seen traits which are often labeled as negative by mainstream authorities but as positive by Indigo Child theorists. Many Indigo Child theory supporters believe that these traits can also be brought out in non-Indigos, but that Indigo Children are predisposed to them thanks to an evolutionary advantage.

Characteristics

Carroll and Tober identify ten attributes that describe the Indigo Child:

  • They come into the world with a feeling of royalty (and often act like it).
  • They have a feeling of "deserving to be here," and are surprised when others do not share that.
  • Self-worth is not a big issue; they often tell the parents "who they are."
  • They have difficulty with absolute authority (authority without explanation or choice).
  • They simply will not do certain things; for example, waiting in line is difficult for them.
  • They get frustrated with systems that are ritually oriented and do not require creative thought.
  • They often see better ways of doing things, both at home and in school, which makes them seem like "system busters" (non-conforming to any system).
  • They seem antisocial unless they are with their own kind. If there are no others of like consciousness around them, they often turn inward, feeling like no other human understands them. School is often extremely difficult for them socially.
  • They will not respond to "guilt" discipline ("Wait till your father gets home and finds out what you did").
  • They are not shy in letting it be known what they need.

In her article Indigo Children: What's an Indigo Child?? Wendy H. Chapman (enlightenment teacher at and Director of Metagifted Education Resource Organization) says that Indigo Children will also display many of the following:

  • Have strong self esteem, connection to source
  • Have an obvious sense of self
  • Refuse to follow orders or directions
  • Get bored rather easily with assigned tasks
  • Are rather creative
  • Display strong intuition
  • Have strong empathy for others or NO empathy
  • Develop abstract thinking very young
  • Are gifted and/or talented, highly intelligent
  • Are often identified or suspected of having ADHD
  • Are frequent daydreamers
  • Have very old, deep, wise looking eyes
  • Have spiritual intelligence and/or psychic skills

Some critics believe that these traits are not unique and are observable in most children, but adherents believe that this new type of child has come forward for a reason; most often suggested is that they will improve the world in some way. The changes generally discussed involve bringing peace, toppling corrupt institutions, and a shift from allopathic medicine to a greater understanding of more natural alternatives. Indigo Children are said to be more in touch with something called the Universal Truth, and do not tolerate or understand behaviors or systems that are not in harmony with it.

Indigo Children are sometimes said to possess an extreme longevity, but given the birth dates above the source of this belief is unknown.

Indigo Abilities

Many discussions of Indigo Children in new-age literature (including Kryon literature) claim that Indigo Children are born with part of their DNA activated that most people do not have activated. Some claim that it is junk DNA that they utilize to "swap out" higher-dimensional information, giving them special abilities.

These abilities are said to include purging HIV, advanced genius and psychic/telekinetic powers (See Indigo Children - Crystalline Children and The Indigo Crystal "Human Angel") speaking to the dead.

'April' Children

As the Indigo movement began in the early 80's, a related phenomenon called 'April Children' was being reported in Greece. Greek journalist Kostas Hardavelas announced that the University of Athens showed some unusual interest in children specifically born during April of 1983. The University is said to have sought them in schools and performed interviews and surveys without further information or notification to the public. Hardavelas produced a documentary about the interviewees, promoting the view that these children had high IQ, mental abilities, peculiar dreams and spiritual experiences. In the absence of specific data about the key players and their aims within the University, the documentary posits the theory that connects the apparent anomaly to some cosmic event (planetary alignment or excessive solar activity).

Speculation about the children born during April 1983 is based on information from a book and articles written by Greek science-fiction and conspiracy theory author Ioannis Fourakis. Fourakis believes that the 'April Children' have a mark on their skin, and that they will play some important role in the future in accordance with his theories of Ellinokentrismos.

Non-mystic interpretations

Some critics feel that it is possible to use the traits assigned to Indigo Children as an observation of social trends, rather than as a signifier of a new race or form of consciousness. One such trend is more and more children are viewing magical/mystical TV shows and media that use new-age interpretable language. Coupled with how children feed off the media in their own natural fantasy play, such mystical make-believe could be unintentionally falsely re-interpreted as signs of preternatural knowledge, maturity or "higher consciousness".

An example of this emerged in a 2006 article in the Dallas Observer which covered the Indigo Child phenomenon. The reporter observed an 8-year-old boy named Dusk quizzed by a man on his "Indigo" status:

"Are you an indigo?" he asked Dusk. The boy looked at him shyly and nodded. "I'm an avatar," Dusk said. "I can recognize the four elements of earth, wind, water and fire. The next avatar won't come for 100 years." The man seemed impressed.

However, readers of the Dallas Observer pointed out in letters to the editor that Dusk may have been drawing on the Nickelodeon children's show Avatar: The Last Airbender. This highly-rated television show features a twelve-year old boy who is the reincarnation of the Avatar Spirit, has the power to manipulate (or "bend") earth, wind, water and fire, and was once frozen in suspended animation for one hundred years. These similarities were not noted within the article, and the editor of the Dallas Observer later admitted they were not aware of the connection until several readers brought it to their attention.

Criticism and scientific investigation

Skeptics point out that proponents of the Indigo movement lack verifiable evidence to support their claims. Indigo literature frequently talks about "University studies" and "interested scientists," however scientists such as Russell Barkley, a research professor of psychiatry, have stated, "There's no science behind it. There are no studies." Barkley has also expressed concern that labelling a disruptive child an "Indigo" may delay proper diagnosis and treatment that may help them.

Indigo Children are often the offspring of New Age parents. Exposed to New Age thinking, it might be taken as unsurprising that the children possess a greater fluency of spiritual language than earlier generations. Having been told that the vast majority of children are now Indigos, New Age parents in fear of suppressing this special generation may be encouraging antisocial behaviors. It is said that many of the traits identifying Indigo Children could simply be interpreted as simple arrogance and selfish individualism when viewed from a very specific viewpoint.

Just as many people tend towards astrology because it presents believers with simple, complimentary accounts of themselves, critics of the Indigo Child concept claim that parents relate to the hypothesis because it provides a more flattering conclusion about their child than current mainstream psychological descriptions that are popular among most parents, such as ADHD or Asperger's Syndrome. Indigo Child is not a recognized term in the field of psychology, although some of the authors of Indigo literature have degrees in psychology; one reason for this might be that the concept of Indigo children is relatively new.

Critics have also voiced concern that teaching children that they are Indigo will encourage children to adopt sociopathic behaviors, such as a sense of human superiority, alienation, and a "bizarre" paranormal identity.

Education

Educators, generally, have not embraced the Indigo Child supposition; many educators are not even aware of the Indigo child movement. Some alternative educators have accepted the Indigo concept, and have related their mission to the needs of Indigo Children. Philosophies that resonate with Indigos' style of learning may include experiential education, multiple intelligence strategies, project-based learning, unschooling, and student-centered learning.

Evolution Meets Evolution:

Sorry to start off with a side note, but I feel it's necessary and very important. With the advent of the UFO craze, there started the courtship of two very sinister concoctions. We all know that the modern phase of Darwinian Evolution started back in the 19th century and was raised to the attention of the general populace with Darwin's book "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life." Slowly but surely the book and theory took on converts, many times coming against mediocre resistance from a Church that didn't know exactly how to battle what it though was a lunacy that would soon pass away like many other oddball ideas had in the past. Ignore it and it will go away. Well, the Church was wrong. Evolution started to make inroads in the institutions of higher learning and indoctrinated the minds of many who in turn preached the false gospel to many others, sort of like the domino effect of Communism that everyone feared for seventy years. Finally, when the Church started to lose parishioners  to evolutionary thought it woke up and started quite a quick and fairly successful fight against the multiheaded monster of the beast. And, I'm happy to report that the beast does have a very serious wound. But I have to say, that it could evolve into a different beast, or merge with another beast to become a super beast.

The other beast I mention is the beast of the Extraterrestrial Agenda. Ever since it's inception, the Extraterrestrial Agenda has promoted that there are life forms on other worlds. First the supposed extraterrestrials said that they came from other worlds in our solar system, but when we started to explore those worlds and noticed that they were barren and uninhabitable the "space brothers" changed their story and placed their civilizations just far enough out of reach to make that lie hard to discover; places like Orion and the Pleiades. At first they came to earth and told us that they were just observing. Then the story changed and they said that they were here to keep us from destroying ourselves. Finally, the story evolved into their claim that they are really our progenitors and that they are here to help us change, and to help us evolve into a higher form of being. Sounds like the classic line when caught in a lie, the liar says, "what I really meant was..." Can you see the beast starting to rise up yet?

Well, Darwinian Evolution is dying a horrible death. Inaccuracies are being discovered all of the time and some scientists have come to faith in Yeshua and they have pointed out many more bullet wounds in the troubled theory. So what do liars do when they are faced with their own lie in the plain sight of all? Well, they make another lie to cover up their old lie, and they explain it away in some sort of fashion. For instance, back in the 1990's, then President Clinton made a claim that he never had sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky. When it became apparent through evidence that Mr. Clinton did formally have relations with Ms. Lewinsky, the story was distorted. First, he tried to make it seem like Ms. Lewinsky forced herself on him and he just couldn't resist. Then, in a final effort to save his bacon, he tried to change the definition of what actual sex really was. Figuring that "actual penetration with sexual organs" was the only real term for sex he tried to distort the claims that were being made against him. Then when under examination for impeachment he even tried to distort the meaning of common English words to worm his way out of his dilemma. Well, fortunately, people didn't buy it; at least the sane ones.

So what does one do when it seems that evolution is dying and you have to save the patient at all costs? Well, you do anything you can do to stop the death process. You see, the New Age has always found evolution to be true in their estimation. Founded on Eastern Mysticism, they adhere to reincarnation, which is nothing but a fancy word for evolution of one's spirit until a person reaches Nirvana, or perfection. In what is almost always a long series of countless lives by each spirit, perfection is finally reached according to their doctrine. The extraterrestrial agenda has also adopted this notion. They promote the idea that they are here to aid us in stepping up to our next ladder rung of evolutionary progression. Of course, they are promoting this evolutionary progression as one that is spiritual. They have to make this step a spiritual one because no physical evolution ever happens and so it will have to be something that they say has happened, but has no real physical evidential traits.

Many Darwinian Evolutionists, faced with the stark realization that physical evolution (macro-evolution) is not a viable explanation for all life on earth will have to adopt the extraterrestrial explanation for origins of life on earth. The only other choice that they have would be to admit that there was a creator and that would eventually lead to the admission that Yeshua is Yahweh; the creator of the universe. Granted, some will come to that realization, but the majority; those who can't bend a knee and acknowledge accountability to a living God will accept the lie that "space brothers" created life on earth and are tending us like a shepherd tends sheep. But if the evolutionists and those in the extraterrestrial camp were correct (which they are not) then someone would have had to create the extraterrestrials, and so on and so forth. Somewhere down the road, there would have had to have been a creator of all things. So all that the extraterrestrial origin theory does is push back the inevitable fact that there was a creator. And just like they moved their home planet location to Orion and the Pleiades to keep the truth just out of reach; they have pushed back the subject of origins to make it look so far back into antiquity that it makes it seem unsearchable.

No Physical Proof? Then Make It Spiritual.

So what does a person or a group do when they aren't accountable to the Ruach Ha Kodesh, and they can't prove something in the physical realm? Well, they make it spiritual of course. The same lie that accounts for the Indigo Children being a special "spiritual" evolutionary phenomena has been played out for years. One good example would be the Jehovah's Witness' spiritualizing the second coming of Messiah. For many years they preached that the Second Coming of Messiah would be in or around 1914. They proclaimed that Armageddon would occur at that time and would usher in the Second Coming. Well, 1914 came and went as did the years around that year and Yeshua never came back and Armageddon never occurred. So, in an effort to save face, they then had a "divine revelation" that Yeshua's second coming did in fact occur, but that it was an invisible spiritual second coming. Sorry, but when Yeshua returns, it's not going to be by some divine twelve step plan, but it will be as He said it would be, "all eyes will see him."

Part of the New Age doctrine is the premise that people won't so much be changed on the outside, but that they will experience a rebirth inside. This of course is a counterfeit of the Biblical doctrine that Yeshua proclaimed, that a person has to be Born Again, before they can see the Kingdom of Heaven. Knowing that Satan has never had an original idea during his whole existence we know that he'll try to imitate in a corrupt manner, everything that Yahweh has instituted for the sake of holiness. When a person comes to Yeshua and accepts by faith that his/her sins are forgiven by the sacrifice that Yeshua made on the cross, they become a new creature. Now, we see no physical change for the most part. But we do see the the inner man renewed; made into a new creature. Old habits die, sin isn't fun anymore and we have the Ruach Ha Kodesh inside of us showing us right from wrong and revealing the truth of Yahweh to our soul and spirit. A year after I came to faith in Yeshua I still looked the same as I did before my new life. Part of my demeanor caused an outward appearance in that I smiled more and my parts were used for righteousness rather than for sin, like they were before; but my visage was basically the same.

The Luciferic Initiation is basically the equivalent to Yahweh's "born again" experience. In some writings their initiation is referred to as a "born again" phenomena. So it stands to reason that if the Ruach Ha Kodesh comes to inhabit the Messianic believer; the spirit of antichrist must be what comes to indwell those who chose the New Age; it can be no other way. 

With this in mind, we have to surmise that if those who come to faith in Yeshua are referred to as "sons of God" then the believers in the New Age would adopt the same title for themselves; worshipping a false Christ, promulgated by a false gospel. We come to faith in Messiah Yeshua and when we procreate we teach our children the way that they should go and pray that someday they will accept Yeshua as their salvation too. But it is their choice and they don't become Christians or Messianists because they are born into it. Many cultures are deceived by this assumption. I once worked with an Armenian lady who thought she was a Christian because she was born in what she called a "Christian Nation;" that being Armenia. Well the same assumption can be made by a child born in a taxi, thinking that they are destined to be a taxi driver or a child born in a bagel shop; thinking he or she was a bagel.

The New Age though carries this absurdity to the highest degree. They feel, for the most part, that these Indigo Children are being born to people who are involved in the New Age. The ones who aren't born to New Age parents are just some sort of lucky individuals who the universe happens to thing worthy of the so called blessing; this so called spiritual evolution.

But What About Those Attributes?

Just jump back up on this page and see some of the attributes that these supposed blessings from nature (Indigo Children) seem to have. I think that we can all connect with some if not many of these attributes. I for one hated standing in line when I was a kid, and sometimes still do. I questioned authority a lot when I was younger and sometimes still do. Most children come into the world feeling like royalty, like they are more special than the other children around them. I've never liked ritual, especially when it comes to religious service. I've always thought of better ways of doing things. Most children that I've encountered, including myself when I was a child, are antisocial. Most children when first taken to the playground have to be introduced to other kids and sometimes coaxed into participating. School was difficult for me socially and there were times that I turned inward because I really didn't want to be a jock and I didn't want to be a brainiac either. Most kids are vocal in what they want. Just follow any mother with children when she is in a supermarket and they get near the candy or kid's aisle. All you'll hear is the mother telling the child that they can't have this or that and she'll repeat it until the allure of the items is no longer in view. I'd say that 90+ percent of children act that way in a supermarket; and the ones who don't have probably been disciplined for their actions previously.

The word "discipline" is the whole crux of the matter. Yahweh gives us parents to lead and guide us as we're growing up. Of course, we have to hope and pray that the parents that we have care enough to guide us and provide correction when it is needed. Nobody likes standing in line but patience is obtained by standing in line. Friends can be made standing in line too. The person in front and back probably hate standing in line too and it is a good way to break the ice, talking about the line. Authority is not a bad thing if it is a good authority; one that can be understanding and teaching. By submitting to good authority we learn how to become good authorities ourselves. Ritualism isn't a bad thing, especially if the ritual consists of bathing every morning, brushing one's teeth and putting on the deodorant. Ritual is good if it involves getting up and going to work every morning so that one can be a decent and productive member of society. So certain rituals, although they can sometimes become mundane, are both acceptable and necessary. There's nothing wrong in finding easier ways of doing things. But, one has to know the hard ways in order to know how the easier ways work. For instance, when me and my piers were in high school way back in the 1970's we were not allowed to use calculators in class. That really bugged me a lot because calculators helped me a great deal. When I was frustrated I asked the teacher why he had what seemed like such a stringent rule against the electronic devices. The teacher told me that he wanted me to know how to do the math when a calculator wasn't handy. He presented to me a scenario where I would be in a very important business meeting and would forget my calculator. I would not have a chance to obtain one and needed to know how to do figures on paper. Since I knew the deeper things of mathematics I would be able to figure things out on paper and close the deal with the people I was working with. When it was explained to me it made perfect sense and I accepted it. So, there is always a good reason for us to know how to do things the hard way and practicing that is not a fault in our character, but asset to it.

And more on discipline. When I was a child I hated making new friends. My parents knew this, especially my mother. She sent me to the YMCA to learn how to swim and I had interaction with other kids there. Then she got me involved with the Cub Scouts and I made friends there. In school she encouraged me to get involved in chorus and that is where I got my appreciation for music. My parents encouraged me in many things, and I'm not ashamed to say that there were times when they had to be a bit forceful. But you know what? It is because of those things that I can walk up to just about anyone and strike up a conversation. I can make friends pretty easy and I'm a social person. Had they not disciplined me in those things I would have been a slug that never left the house. And look at a lot of the kids today; many of them not wanting to leave the house and be social; playing video games and watching television all day long. It's a sad state of affairs, but there's hope. And of course, almost all of the kids in my generation went to the store with our mothers announcing that we wanted things that we really didn't need. But we were given correction, stern and swift, which meant that it really didn't happen again. My mother still laughs at how after correction from she and my father, all she would have to do in a store after that was to squeeze my hand and I would behave. There's nothing wrong with that, is there? I think not. But many in my generation and the ones that followed never got the correct discipline. This can be seen today as having carried over into adulthood. People have gotten themselves in debt up to their eyeballs simply because they're adults now and they don't have anyone squeezing their hands and telling them no.

Of course there are other aspects of the Indigo Children that all of us have experienced as children. So, as for these kids being special, or some sort of newly evolved form of human being, I have to say that it is all a bunch of bovine scatology. The only difference is that where our parents taught us discipline (or at least tried to) in some sense or degree, the parents of the so called special children are told not to. I constantly apologize to the younger generations for the way that my generation has helped to mess up the world. But, imagine how messed up the world would be right now if none of our parents had whacked us on the behind for inappropriate behavior simply because they thought us to be some specially evolved entities. Well, we won't have to imagine too long because when these Indigo Children grow up they will fill the world with spoiled rotten psychopathic deviates and we'll get to see it first hand.

The Bible Prophesied Indigo Children Types:

It shouldn't come as too much a surprise that the text of the Bible talks about the Last Days, and how people will be at that (this) time.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was. 2 Timothy 3:1-9

The little list below is made to show how the descriptions used to illustrate the so-called improvements on human evolution is really in sync with what Timothy said in his epistle. But, instead of espousing the New Age description as something good, Timothy shows how these things show a declination toward psychopathic behavior exhibited by anyone who tries to exalt mankind over Yahweh. Care should also be taken to remember that one attribute exist with another and that although not all of the behaviors mentioned in 2 Timothy are highlighted, the behaviors that are can lead to the behaviors which are not highlighted are possible with continued practice of the ones that are highlighted.

The Correlation Between Indigo Children and Psychopaths:

DETAILED ANALYSIS OF THE PSYCHOPATH

Psychopaths cannot be understood in terms of antisocial rearing or development. They are simply morally depraved individuals who represent the "monsters" in our society. They are unstoppable and untreatable predators whose violence is planned, purposeful and emotionless. The violence continues until it reaches a plateau at age 50 or so, then tapers off. Their emotionlessness reflects a detached, fearless, and possibly dissociated state, revealing a lower autonomic nervous system and lack of anxiety. It's difficult to say what motivates them - control and dominance possibly - since their life history will usually show no bonds with others nor much rhyme to their reason (other than the planning of violence). They tend to operate with a grandiose demeanor, an attitude of entitlement, an insatiable appetite, and a tendency toward sadism. Fearlessness is probably the prototypical (core) characteristic (the low-fear hypothesis). It's helpful to think of them as high-speed vehicles with ineffective brakes. Certain organic (brain) disorders and hormonal imbalances mimic the state of mind of a psychopath. 

There are four (4) different subtypes of psychopaths. The oldest distinction was made by Cleckley back in 1941 between primary and secondary. However, we'll explore the other two subtypes first:

DISTEMPERED PSYCHOPATHS are the kind that seem to fly into a rage or frenzy more easily and more often than other subtypes. Their frenzy will resemble an epileptic fit. They are also usually men with incredibly strong sex drives, capable of astonishing feats of sexual energy, and seemingly obsessed by sexual urges during a large part of their waking lives. Powerful cravings also seem to characterize them, as in drug addiction, kleptomania, pedophilia, any illicit or illegal indulgence. They like the endorphin "high" or "rush" off of excitement and risk-taking. The serial-rapist-murderer known as the Boston Strangler was such a psychopath.

CHARISMATIC PSYCHOPATHS are charming, attractive liars. They are usually gifted at some talent or another, and they use it to their advantage in manipulating others. They are usually fast-talkers, and possess an almost demonic ability to persuade others out of everything they own, even their lives. Leaders of religious sects or cults, for example, might be psychopaths if they lead their followers to their deaths. This subtype often comes to believe in their own fictions. They are irresistible.

PRIMARY PSYCHOPATHS do not respond to punishment, apprehension, stress, or disapproval. They seem to be able to inhibit their antisocial impulses most of the time, not because of conscience, but because it suits their purpose at the time. Words do not seem to have the same meaning for them as they do for us. In fact, it's unclear if they even grasp the meaning of their own words, a condition that Cleckley called "semantic aphasia." They don't follow any life plan, and it seems as if they are incapable of experiencing any genuine emotion.  

SECONDARY PSYCHOPATHS are risk-takers, but are also more likely to be stress-reactive, worriers, and guilt-prone. They expose themselves to more stress than the average person, but they are as vulnerable to stress as the average person. They are daring, adventurous, unconventional people who began playing by their own rules early in life. They are strongly driven by a desire to escape or avoid pain, but are unable to resist temptation. As their anxiety increases toward some forbidden object, so does their attraction to it. They live their lives by the lure of temptation. 

Hare's PCL-R 20-item checklist is based on Cleckley's 16-item checklist, and the following is a discussion of the concepts in the PCL-R:

So it is fairly simple to see that the Indigo Child has some of the traits of psychopathic behavior. Since this is the case, perhaps they are one and the same. While it is my contention that some people are born "just plain bad;" I do believe that (contrary to what the Wesleyan Faculty) that this behavior can be acquired. Imagine if you will, a child that had two parents and a family structure that allows them to run amok their whole childhood. The child would grow up with little sense of right and wrong; no knowledge of God; basically a poster child for anarchy. Given this foundation, the child would become a psychopath, or as the Bible refers to him/her, a child of perdition. It is scary to think that a whole generation of these individuals are now in the process of being handed the keys to the world and all its affairs.

The Anti-Christ Generation:

So, if you wanted to become a world dictator; one devoid of Yeshua or any sort of accountability, what would try to rear up before your reign? Well, you'd want a generation of people who have absolutely no morals. You'd want them to exhibit every trait mentioned in the 2 Timothy prophecy. You'd want drones who will flock to you at the right time. You'd want psychopaths, all whom have your key in their ignition, waiting for you to turn them on.

If the Indigo Children craze takes off that is exactly what will happen. For the most part, my generation has reared up a generation of children, not because they want to procreate and please Yahweh. No, they just want to have children because it is what couples do. It is no different than all of the other worldly things that people acquire in order to keep up with the Jones'. Children are like new cars or homes in the eyes of many, made to last for the first five or six years without any maintenance; void of any upkeep and wearing a pretty facade while containing dead men's bones inside. They're all out there looking for answers although most of them would not admit to their search. Although most don't claim to be Indigo Children, they still possess the same qualities that the Indigo's say that they have, minus the spiritual abilities. When the world plummets into chaos some day soon and it seems that there is no hope, these children will be walking around in a dark fog, begging for answers. And of course, into the scene will pop one man who claims to have all of the answers. He'll solve a lot of the world's problems and he'll be accepted as the Messiah, Christ, the 12th Mahdi, Buddha and every other waited for deliverer.

The Remedy:

So of course we have to take a look at what the Bible; Yahweh's own Word, has to say about quashing this phenomena. The Bible says thus:

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

There are other scriptures that talk about using a rod to administer correction to a child and there are probably some instances where such correction is necessary depending on the child. Back when I was a teen there was a lot of talk, and I think there still is, about not spanking a child. There were all sorts of reasons offered as to why spanking was a bad idea. But now we see a generation of kids who weren't spanked and they're on the news all of the time for doing stupid things and also committing crimes that were unthinkable just a generation back in time.

Now I currently have no children so some of you would dismiss what I say as the rantings of a fool who doesn't know what he is talking about. I can however present my credentials as a former child. I know what was going through my head when I was misbehaving and it wasn't good. A couple of years before he died, my dad and I had a talk about punishment. I mentioned to him about the times that he needed to hit me with his belt. Dad dropped his head in sadness and apologized to me for that sort of punishment. I rebuked him for his apology however. You see, he told me that I was basically a good child and he thought that I didn't need that sort of correction. Well, I know me, and what I was thinking and the plans that I thought out and implemented before I disobeyed, so I knew that I wasn't the great child that dad knew me to be. So I thanked him for hitting me with the belt the few times he did. I told him that had he refrained from doing that to me I would have turned out to be a terrible adult; probably a very self centered individual and would have been real messed up. I used my cousin as an illustration; who incidentally was never punished for anything. He came to Yeshua after many years of drug abuse and lawlessness.

There is a beautiful scripture in Hebrews that applies to this whole thing:

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Hebrews 12:5-11

So hence, we have to bring up our children in the ways of Yahweh, and we have to start on them as young as possible. We have to keep them on the right path. We can trust Yeshua to aid us on the spiritual upbringing of our children, that is a given. We can also pray that He'd give us the wisdom to raise out children in all other aspects of life. He can help us to overcome our inadequacies and bring up fine young men and women of Yahweh.

The site where I got the information about psychopaths made mention several times that people with this problem really aren't redeemable. In worldly affairs that might be true but we have to remember one thing. None of us was marketable before we were redeemed by the blood of Yeshua. We were all losers and all heading to hell. Even the best of us was like the worse psychopath in Yahweh's eyes, but He didn't give up on us.

Indigo Children aren't unredeemable! They're just kids who are getting off to a bad start, guided by misguided adults. Granted, a lot of deliverance and spiritual warfare needs to be worked through in order to fight and win this battle, but the results will be glorious. The Indigo Children myth is a reality that needs to be prayed for and come against in the Spirit. We need to guard our kids against it and equip them to fight it. After all, they are part of that perverse generation and they will be dealing with it long after we have gone to Glory.
